From Global Delivery to Global Sourcing
Sourcing has been central to Infosys' business model since our birth in 1981. We pioneered the Global Delivery Model to enable the distribution of application and business process lifecycle activities and resources, while ensuring their integration.
In 2004, we introduced Modular Global Sourcing (MGS), a set of decision frameworks and planning activities to help companies take strategic sourcing decisions and achieve high returns on IT and business process investments.
